General FAQsHow do I get the picture of my pet to appear next to my guest book entries?
When you are filling in the guest book form Click the link that says
"Include my pet's thumbnail photo - optional"
You will then see the place to type in your memorial id and your password
Then click "Go". If you have the correct memorial id and password you will see your pet's picture will appear with your guest book entry when you submit it.
How long will my pet's memorial remain online?
All memorials are fully active with pictures and videos for 14 days. After 14 days, without selection of a silver or gold memorial, your memorial will revert to text only. We believe that all pets deserve to be remembered and will always leave your memorial online unless you request that it be removed.
How much does it cost to put up a pet memorial?
At Pet Heaven Memorials, we believe that all pets deserve a memorial. When you create a memorial, it will be fully functional for 14 days with pictures and videos. No credit card or payment is required while you set up your memorial and get familiar with how it works. After 14 days, you will need to choose to go with a silver or gold memorial, if you want to keep pictures and videos visible on your pet's memorial. This is $29 for silver or $39 for gold. Gold gives you more storage space for pictures and allows videos to be uploaded. Youtube videos can still be linked with Silver Memorial. These are one time only payments and help us with the server costs. If you don't choose one of these memorials, your text only memorial will remain online. All pictures and videos are still on site, but will not be visible. We realize not everyone has the resources to spend on a memorial and other visitors may choose to donate for a memorial on your behalf.
What is a pet memorial and what can I do with it?
A pet memorial is a tribute to the memory of your pet and who he/she was. You can tell friends and family and even the whole world what a wonderful friend your fur baby was to you and how much he or she meant. You can share thoughts, poems, prayers, pictures and videos, and people can write in your guest book to let you know they visited and share their thoughts. This is especially helpful for far away relatives. Your pet memorial is a place you can visit any time you want, 24 hours a day.
Why is a page removed from my memorial - or why was I asked to take something down? If someone doesn't like a page or comment they should just not visit my memorial.
In a public memorial that is not the case. All public memorials in petheavenmemorials.com must adhere to the same rules. Only kind and compassionate comments and pages can be posted on a public memorial. If there is something you want to post that you think should be just fine and someone has complained about it - you can make your memorial private - it will then need to remain a private memorial.
